WDCC Meetup: Quantum Computing at WUR

WDCC is organising a new meetup with food, drinks and interesting data science discussions. On the 10th of November, we will gather on campus to discuss "Quantum Computing at WUR”. Quantum Computing is an exciting new technology. It is expected that Quantum Computers will be able to complete computationally demanding procedures, in a fraction of the time that it would take traditional super computers. The Netherlands is placed to become a global leader in Quantum Computing and researchers at WUR have been exploring how Quantum Computers could be beneficial to our domains.

Dr. Michael Aldridge from Wageningen Livestock Research, and colleagues from Food Safety Research, Food and Biobased Research, Environmental Research and Quantum Application Lab will share insights into Quantum Computing, what is the current state of development, and what are the use cases for Quantum Computing in Agri-Food. After presentations there is time for a lively discussion about the future of Quantum Computing at WUR. The meetup will be held on Wageningen Campus, with walk-in dinner bites to kick off and networking drinks after. Everyone is welcome, both from WUR but also the general public.
