No access to the campus for cars through the Bornsesteeg

A school regional sports event will take place at Sports Centre de Bongerd (SCB) on 22 September. Access to the Bornsesteeg from the Nijenoord Allee to Sports Centre de Bongerd will be restricted throughout the day. Moreover, the SCB parking lots are unavailable, and the event will produce noise that will be audible on the campus.

Safety

Sportservice Wageningen, part of Sportservice De Vallei, expects to receive over 920 students from 13 primary schools, over 25 sports and cultural organisations and some 200 volunteers and interns for this eighth SAM school competition.

The following locations are closed for cars on Thursday 22 September between 07:00 and 16:00:

  • Access reads to Sports Park de Bongerd (i.e., the Bornsesteeg)
  • The parking lot at the university Sports Centre de Bongerd

En parkerende auto’s bij de flats van de Droevendaalsesteeg en de Nijenoord Allee zullen hinder ondervinden.

Permit

Wageningen municipality has sanctioned this event at Sports Park de Bongerd. The setting up of the event will commence at 06:30 on Thursday 22 September. Music will be played throughout the day, starting at 08:00 until 15:00. Voice audio will be used during the opening ceremony at 09.15 and the closing ceremony at 14:15. Dismantling will be concluded at approximately 18:00.
