Kadans Science Partner starts the development of Plus Ultra II on Wageningen Campus

Following the success of the multi-tenant building Plus Ultra, Kadans Science Partner has begun construction of a similar complex: Plus Ultra II.

To fulfil the increasing demand for commercial offices on campus, a new multi-tenant building is being constructed right next to the Plus Ultra building and they will be connected. The new building will provide space for offices, laboratories, and other research spaces as well as Meet & Greet facilities. The building will be four stories high and will be over 10,500 m2 in size.

Wageningen University & Research has signed a long-term lease with Kadans for 1,500 m2. Once completed, Plus Ultra II will house all of the startup community at an "entrepreneurs' plaza". In addition to StartLife and the student startups from the StartHub, the WU challenge teams will also be accommodated in this creative and entrepreneurial community. Space will also be created for housing the technology startups that are currently unable to rent a suitable space on campus. The "entrepreneurs' plaza" will be given its own unique look and feel.

Just like the Plus Ultra, the Plus Ultra II will be developed with an ambitious sustainability objective, the BREEAM-NL Excellent certificate. The building will have a flexible layout and all spaces will be able to be specifically adjusted to suit future tenants.

The construction of Plus Ultra II has already begun and will be completed mid-2020.
